Project Architect

At Blitz we believe that architecture should tell a story — an interesting and compelling story. What are we about? Where do we stand? What are our passions and what makes us happy? These are legitimate questions and we should seek answers to them throughout the design process. After all, it’s not about money, notoriety, or fashion: it’s about doing something that has value. And when you get that right, everything else follows.

About the Position & The Benefits of Working Here

Project Architects at Blitz lead the design team on their respective projects. In addition to team leadership, they will also serve both a design and documentation role on their projects. Primary responsibilities will include: design concept creation, development of project narratives, production of drawings, specifications, renderings, studies or other documentation for architectural projects at schematic design, design development, and construction document stages of project development; responsible for coordination of consultant and engineering documentation as part of the project; coordination with public agencies and jurisdictions and consultants. Additionally, the Project Architect may be responsible for assisting with the bidding and construction administration of projects; overseeing plan distribution, construction observation, processing change orders and field reports, project close-out, and jurisdictional and inspection coordination.

We are looking for a talented Project Architect that want to shape the future of commercial design.
