About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of five years’ experience at architecture or commercial interior design firms. Ideally a self-starter and fast learner, who is looking for opportunities to improve systems, structures, and themselves. Revit proficiency and communication/ visualization skills are a must, FF+E knowledge and specification experience preferred.
This position is for a poised individual with the ability to communicate ideas graphically, assemble finish palettes, and coordinate and collaborate with furniture vendors. Importantly, it requires composed interface with clients, contractors, and consultants.
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 5 years’ professional experience.
· Accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design
· REVIT proficiency is required.
· Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
· Experience in commercial interiors.
· Experience with hospitality and retail a strong plus.
DESIGN/ TECHNICAL DESIGN
· Excellent technical and design skills.
· Experience with programming and space planning.
· Experience with materials research and selection.
· Experience in construction documentation, detailing, and FF&E specifications.
· Ability to review construction for general conformance with the design concept.
· Applies rigor and elegance to the resolution and execution of their design ideas.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Enscape skills a huge plus.
SOFT SKILLS
· Demonstrated history of Tenacity (our core value).
· Ability to work within a team environment.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
· Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines.
· Ability to advise and facilitate decision making amongst clients.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
· Candidates must currently reside in California and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
· Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
· Candidates must be able to travel to other studios as required.
