About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Senior Leadership Team, the Marketing Coordinator interfaces with the architectural staff and firm Principals to successfully implement the firm’s strategic marketing, communications, and business development goals. The primary responsibilities include proposal execution, awards submittals, website updates, social media management, project photography coordination, PR/social media coordination and internal metrics tracking. Secondary responsibilities include maintaining the office events calendar, responding to outside media inquiries, assisting with presentation materials, assisting with event planning, and internal procedure documentation. This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is based on ability and experience. Our ideal candidate has stellar writing skills, is technologically savvy, plays well with others, manages deadlines like a boss, and rocks their job hard. They must have an interest in architecture, interior design and graphic design with demonstrated A/E/C industry experience. The selected candidate will take ownership of projects from start to finish, work on multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate time management, and provide a consistently high level of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience marketing for professional service, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, InDesign, and Photoshop; proficient with Illustrator.
Advanced proficiency in social media development and posting, especially for professional services firms.
TECHNICAL SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposals
Design and production of proposals and qualifications packages in collaboration with others in the firm.
Develop/write qualification portions of proposals, integrate technical portions, and edit entire document for readability and compliance with RFP requirements.
Schedule and track production of proposals/qualifications packages to meet deadlines.
Develop pitch deck presentations for interviews and other uses.
Develop compelling graphics for proposals and interview presentations that reflect Blitz’s brand and standards of quality.
Other duties as requested.
Marketing and Communications Support
Provide support to the Senior Leadership team, especially updating and maintaining our CRM/project tracking metrics.
Organize and coordinate project photoshoots.
Organize and coordinate office events and parties.
Organize and coordinate client appreciation gifts and events.
Social Media
Develop posts and maintain our social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Assist with website content and management; develop ongoing website ideas.
Improve engagement capabilities and tracking of visitors.
Increase our ability to understand social media analytics that help to develop more effective direct communication strategies.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must currently reside in and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
Candidate must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area or plan to reside there within the next 30 days. This is an in-person role with the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
Candidates must be able to travel to other studios as required. This is not common but may occur 2-3 times per year.
Valid driver’s license.
